Job summary

Novolex, a leading packaging manufacturer, seeks a Feeder Packer for Mt. Vernon, OH. The role involves preparing materials, feeding machinery, inspecting products, and packing shipments in a fast-paced environment.

Shifts run 7:00am–7:00pm or 7:00pm–7:00am on a 2,2,3 schedule. Starting pay is $21.24/hour plus $0.75/hour shift differential, with strong emphasis on safety, quality, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Stable work history; six months experience in manufacturing or physical labor preferred.
• Commitment to accident-free and drug-free workplace.

• Willingness to work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and pack product per customer specification using safe work practices.
• Identify and communicate product quality deviations; assist with resolution.
• Read, understand, and correctly complete daily paperwork.
• Read & understand Production Orders.
• Assist the Operator with setup and/or change over activities as directed.
• Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.
• Complete assigned duties in compliance with company policies & procedures.
• Actively engage in safety programs.
• Assist other team members as needed.
• Lifting up to 50 pounds as required.
