Job summary

New Vision Co-op in Mankato, MN is seeking a warehouse/transport driver to receive, organize, and maintain feed ingredient inventories and to transport packaged feed as scheduled. This role requires a valid Class A CDL and the ability to lift 60 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Receive, organize, and maintain feed ingredient inventories in the Mankato warehouse.
• Transport packaged feed and feed ingredients as scheduled by supervisor.
• Verify quantity, quality and packaging; record deviations from the bill of lading.
• Monitor inventory systems and keep stock full.
• Maintain safety and certifications on equipment and keep work areas clean.
• Schedule bag deliveries and communicate delays with Site Manager.
• Deliver feed and pick up ingredients per supervisor's instructions.
• Inform supervisor of delivery problems and operate equipment safely.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Supports New Vision Co-op’s stated Vision, Mission, and Business Values.

• Provides outstanding and courteous customer service.
• Comply with FDA’s Good Manufacturing Policies, New Vision Co-op’s policies and procedures, and HACCP standards.
• Verify quantity, quality and package integrity of inbound and outbound warehouse inventory and record any deviations from the bill of lading and notify Feed Warehouse Supervisor.
• Monitor micro bin system and tote rack inventory on a “keep full” basis.
• Organize, maintain and move warehouse inventory on a first in, first out schedule.
• Complete all reports as required by supervisor.
• Maintain safe operating practices and valid certifications on all warehouse equipment.
• Maintain equipment and keep all work areas clean.
• Schedule bag deliveries and communicate delays or changes with Site Manager.
• Repair damaged packaging and adjust inventory as necessary with supervisor approval if discarding of product is required.
• Assist with bagging operations.
• Coordinate adequate floor stock inventory with Site Manager.
• Deliver feed and pick up feed ingredients according to supervisor’s instructions.
• Inform supervisor of delivery problems.
• Comply with all traffic laws and operate all equipment in a safe manner.
• Do routine maintenance and repair on transportation equipment.
• Keep transportation equipment in compliance with MNDOT regulations.

Requirements
