Job summary

House of Raeford is seeking a Feed Mill associate in Comer, GA to unload incoming trucks and railcars, inspect materials, and collect samples according to QA policies. The role requires lifting 50–100 pounds, working in loud, dusty conditions, and frequent night/weekend shifts. Training for forklift operation will be provided.

The position is full-time, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM, and adherence to FSMA regulations and safety protocols is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to lift 50–100 pounds.
• Able to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Able to work in dusty, loud environments and for extended shifts.

Responsibilities

• Unload incoming trucks and railcars.
• Inspect incoming material and verify condition and quality with receiving documents.
• Collect feed samples per QA policies.
• Ensure bins/storage do not overflow; rotate rail stock (FIFO).
• Operate auto-receiving system (training provided).
• Perform routine housekeeping and maintain paperwork per FSMA regulations.
