Job summary

Pilgrim’s is hiring a Feed Mill Receiving Clerk for 1st and 2nd shifts in Harrisonburg, VA. The role centers on unloading trains, trucks, and handling mill receipt tasks in a dusty, fast-paced environment.

Expected duties include printing tickets, maintaining the re-claim system, and supporting other mill areas. High School Diploma preferred; overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• Ability to work well with others and without direct supervision.
• Able to work in a dusty environment.
• Able to work overtime as needed.
• Must be dependable and punctual.
• Excellent attendance, safety and work record.
• Ability to operate machinery including Train locomotive.

Position Summary:

• Unload corn trains-We receive 75 to 150 cars per week
• Unload other rall cars – 20 to 50 cars per week
• Unload bulk ingredients trucks -We receive around 20 trucks per week
• Unload bag ingredients trucks
• Load out corn trucks
• Print receiving and load out scale tickets
• Keep corn re-claim system running
• Clean in the receiving and other areas of the mill
• Fill in other areas in the mill as needed

Education and Experience Requirements:

• High School Diploma preferred
