Qualifications

• Must be able to read and understand documents such as safety rules, maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Must be able to work an average of 50 hour weeks, including night, holiday and weekend when required.
• Must be supportive of the mission of producing high quality pellet feed.
• Must be tolerant and willing to learn and perform the different areas of the feed mill process.

Responsibilities

• Follows standard operating procedures in all operator areas and keeps records.
• Operates equipment/tools (computer, grinders, fork lift) in all areas.
• Prepares and maintains shift activity and production reports.
• Regulates flow of materials and observes flow to meet product specs.
• Performs daily feed, bulk and micro ingredient inventory.
• Maintains safety and cleanliness in designated areas and assists teammates.
• Obtains necessary certifications (weigh master, forklift) as required.
• Ensures compliance with environmental and EMS policies and procedures.
