Job summary

PIPESTONE is seeking a part-time Feed Mill Operator in Luverne, MN to support daily mill operations and keep our mill running safely and efficiently.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required.
• Experience with feed/grain handling, computer automation, or manufacturing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Grind and manufacture complete feed.
• Load complete feed trucks and unload ingredient trucks.
• Re-fill micro table and weigh hand-added ingredients.
• Support efficiency and organization of mill operations.
• Accurately complete production paperwork.
• Identify and monitor equipment throughout the mill.
• Monitor grain storage conditions to ensure product quality.
• Assist with repair and maintenance projects.
• Perform general facility upkeep.
• Support additional projects assigned by the Nutrition Team.

Position Objective

• Assist in mill operations to ensure efficient feed production and high-quality output.

Key Responsibilities

• Grind and manufacture complete feed
• Load complete feed trucks and unload ingredient trucks
• Re-fill micro table and weigh hand-added ingredients
• Support efficiency and organization of mill operations
• Accurately complete production paperwork
• Identify and monitor equipment throughout the mill

Qualifications

Work Environment

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs with assistance
• Stand and walk 8-10 hours per day
• Frequent bending, reaching, squatting, pulling, and kneeling

• Reliable transportation to work
