Smithfield Foods, Inc. is seeking a production operator to support batching, pelleting, and inventory activities in our mill environment. You will follow standard operating procedures, operate grinders, forklifts, and related equipment, and maintain accurate shift and production records.
Safety and compliance with environmental and EMS policies are essential. The role requires reading and interpreting safety and maintenance documents, English literacy, and basic computer skills.

Must be able to tolerate extreme ranges of seasonal temperatures (hot to cold). Must be able to tolerate grain dust, chemical odors, and frequently noisy conditions. Will work in wet and/or humid conditions, and around fumes or airborne particles, chemicals, and cold.
