The role requires being 18+, able to read and write, basic math, a strong work ethic, and reliable attendance. Safety gear is used, and duties include operating mills and rail/truck movement as needed.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the running operation of the feed mill.
• Receive ingredients for the mill.
• Place ingredient orders, batch the feed, and run the pellet mill.
• Document feed mill processes and operation.
• Unload ingredients on arrival.
• Clean mills and facility as needed and address plugged processes.
• Use technology to create the feed.
• Operate a locomotive, unload/move rail cars and trucks.
• Pour micros into bins and change screens in hammer mills.
• Assist with other duties as assigned.
