Miller Poultry in Nappanee, IN, is hiring a Feed Mill Operator for 2nd shift. You will tend, operate, and oversee mill areas, load trucks, and perform daily maintenance. Forklift certification is REQUIRED.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent with several years of related experience; pay is $22–$24 per hour. Work is in a hot, humid, noisy industrial environment with opportunities across our northeast Indiana and southern Michigan operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and 3 years related experience.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Forklift certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Keep mill, coolers, and surrounding grounds clean.
• Operate computer automation for receiving/batching, grinding, mixing, and pelleting feed.
• Set rolls and inspect pellets for length, color, and durability.
• Fill micro-ingredient, tote system, and maintain stock at batching areas.
• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment.
