Hord Farms West in Southwestern Minnesota is seeking an entry-level Feed Mill Maintenance Technician to join our team. You will help maintain feed manufacturing equipment and support safe, efficient mill operations on a dependable shift.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
• Farm, feed mill, manufacturing, or maintenance experience is a plus but not required.
• Basic knowledge of hand and power tools.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in varying indoor and outdoor conditions.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on feed mill equipment.
• Assist with troubleshooting and repairing conveyors, motors, augers, mixers, and related systems.
• Complete basic welding, fabrication, and equipment repairs as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Respond to maintenance issues to minimize production downtime.
• Follow all safety, biosecurity, and company procedures.
• Work closely with mill operators and management to support daily operations.
