Job summary

KENT Nutrition Group, a member of the KENT WORLDWIDE family, is hiring a Machine Operator at the Rockford, IL plant. This 1st shift role focuses on daily operation of feed production equipment, quality control, and safe loading. Starting wage is $19.82 per hour with a full benefits package.

You will handle ingredient receiving, bagging, load-out, and record-keeping, while supporting production scheduling and maintenance. A high school diploma or GED is required; farming background is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• At least 1 year of manufacturing experience.
• Mechanical aptitude preferred.
• Forklift operation skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment to process and manufacture feed products.
• Follow safety protocols and load-out procedures.
• Record and document all feed produced during shift.
• Assist with production scheduling and inventory control.
• Load and unload trucks safely.
• Maintain quality assurance during ingredient receiving and bagging.
• Maintain a strong safety culture.
