POSITION SUMMARY: The position is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of trucks and feed delivery to various farm locations.

Schedule: Sun - Thurs, Afternoon Shift.

Requirements: Valid Class A CDL with 12 months of verifiable tractor/trailer experience. Ability to operate a manual CMV.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned:

• Operate Feed Haul trucks safely and efficiently.
• Perform equipment inspections per company guidelines and report problems.
• Load the truck ensuring feed quality and integrity.
• Obtain feed samples for each grower.
• Unload feed into proper bins at grower locations, maintaining integrity.
• Communicate relevant information with associates and maintenance.
• Maintain equipment and keep work areas clean and organized.
• Handle leftover loads as directed.
• Clean Pellet Mill Particle Separators weekly.
• Follow housekeeping schedule and use PPE as required.
• Maintain a positive work atmosphere and cooperate with team members.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Knowledge of driving and traffic rules.
• Skill to drive trucks safely.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Effective communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work under dusty conditions.
• Valid Class A Driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
• Experience: 1 year of tractor/trailer experience.
