Job summary

AgState is seeking a motivated Feed Truck Driver to join our Feed Department in Newell, IA. You will play a crucial role in delivering feed to customers while upholding the highest standards of customer service and safety.

This role offers home daily, flexible work hours, and competitive benefits. You must have a Class A CDL, and 1–2 years of driving experience is preferred; the job involves lifting up to 50 pounds and may require respirator use.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Deliver feed goods to customers and provide strong customer service.
• Perform daily pre-trip inspections and routine truck maintenance.
• Schedule maintenance with appropriate personnel.
• Load and unload the truck while maintaining safety and efficiency.
• Keep the truck clean and organized; support other locations as needed.
• Be a team player and adhere to Safety Policy.

AgState is currently seeking a motivated Feed Truck Driver to join our Feed Department. As a Feed Truck Driver, you will play a crucial role in delivering feed goods to our customers while upholding the highest standards of customer service and safety. • Demonstrate excellent customer service skills while interacting with customers and collaborating with co-workers and other departments within AgState.
• Drive a truck to deliver feed goods to customers.
• Perform regular maintenance checks on the truck and conduct daily pre-trip inspections.
• Schedule maintenance with appropriate personnel.
• Load and unload the truck efficiently.
• Maintain a clean and organized truck to uphold the professional image of AgState.
• Assist with other locations as needed.
• Be a team player.
• Work in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to AgState’s Safety Policy.

Qualifications

• Meet the physical and medical requirements set by the Department of Transportation (DOT).
• Demonstrate the ability to lift objects weighing up to 50 pounds from the floor to a height of 48 inches.
• Exhibit a high level of attention to detail.
• Be prepared, if necessary, to wear a respirator.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

• Must have and maintain a valid Class A CDL.
• 1-2 years of driving experience preferred, but willing to train.
• No restrictions – can drive manual transmission.
