Job summary

A regional feed supply company located in Forrest, Illinois, is looking for a feed truck driver. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of bulk hog and turkey feed, as well as grain hauling when necessary. The feed truck driver is responsible for the delivery of bulk hog and turkeyfeed in a bio- secure, safe and timely manner. At times the driver will also be responsible for grain and ingredient hauling.

Core Responsibilities

• Deliver bulk and bagged feed in an accurate and safe manner
• Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance.
• Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions
• Accurately follow and verify delivery instructions
• Perform other duties as assigned

Job Qualifications

• Class A CDL is required
• 3 years of experience is preferred but not required.
• Able to climb up and down ladders
• Able to lift 50 pounds
• Random drug testing
• 50 hours per week
• Likely 6:00 am to 4:00 pm
