This position plays a key role in serving local farmers and producers by safely delivering feed products, providing excellent customer service, and supporting feed mill and grain operations when needed.

Primary Responsibilities
Feed Delivery
- Safely deliver bulk, bagged, and specialty feed products to customer locations.
- Load, transport, and unload products accurately and efficiently.
- Follow established delivery routes while maintaining flexibility to meet customer needs.
- Verify delivery tickets and maintain accurate records.
- Operate delivery equipment safely and professionally.
Customer Service
- Serve as a positive representative of Premier Cooperative.
- Build strong relationships with customers and respond professionally to questions and concerns.
- Communicate customer needs, service issues, and sales opportunities to the feed team.
Equipment & Vehicle Maintenance
- Complete required pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
- Maintain clean and professional-looking equipment.
- Report repair needs and mechanical concerns promptly.
- Follow preventative maintenance procedures.
Feed Mill & Operations Support
- Assist with loading feed trucks and preparing deliveries.
- Support feed manufacturing, bagging, and warehouse activities as needed.
- Help maintain inventory accuracy and product quality standards.
- Perform general housekeeping and maintain a clean work environment.
Grain & Seasonal Operations
- Assist with grain receiving, loadout, and facility operations during peak seasons.
- Support harvest activities and other seasonal business needs.
- Cross-train with other departments to support overall cooperative operations.
Safety & Compliance
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Comply with DOT regulations and company transportation policies.
- Participate in safety meetings and required training programs.
- Maintain all required licenses, certifications, and records.
QualificationsQualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with acceptable driving record required.
- Ability to obtain and maintain applicable endorsements and certifications.
- Previous feed delivery, agricultural, trucking, or farm experience preferred.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Mechanical aptitude and agricultural knowledge are beneficial.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to frequently lift up to 75 pounds.
- Ability to climb ladders, enter and exit trucks, and work in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical work throughout the day.
- Ability to work extended hours during seasonal peak periods.
