Job summary

Hudson Guild Counseling Services, a licensed Article 31 Mental Health Clinic in New York, seeks a licensed clinician to supervise a team of LMSWs. This part-time fee-for-service role requires oversight in OMH regulations and clinical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and/or group clinical supervision to a caseload of up to 6 LMSWs.
• Ensure supervisees comply with OMH, NYS Professions, and Article 31 standards.
• Guide supervisees in developing and implementing evidence-based treatment plans.
• Review and provide feedback on clinical documentation (assessments, progress notes, treatment plans, discharge summaries).
• Support LMSWs in managing complex cases, crises, and ethical dilemmas.
• Promote professional development and clinical competency through regular feedback.
• Collaborate with clinic leadership to ensure QA and compliance with agency protocols.
• Participate in periodic case conferences, trainings, and quality improvement activities.
• Provide on-call crisis support as needed.

Position Summary

Hudson Guild Counseling Services, a licensed Article 31 Mental Health Clinic, is seeking a highly skilled Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Clinical Psychologist to serve as a Clinical Supervisor for a team of up to six Licensed Master Social Workers (LMSWs). The Clinical Supervisor will provide regular clinical supervision in accordance with NYS Office of Mental Health (OMH) regulations and professional licensing standards. This is a fee-for-service, part-time position with flexible hours.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide individual and/or group clinical supervision to a caseload of up to 6 LMSWs.
• Ensure supervisees are practicing in accordance with OMH, NYS Office of Professions, and Article 31 clinic standards.
• Guide supervisees in developing and implementing effective, evidence-based treatment plans.
• Review and provide feedback on clinical documentation, including assessments, progress notes, treatment plans, and discharge summaries.
• Support LMSWs in managing complex cases, crisis situations, and ethical dilemmas.

Qualifications

• Previous experience supervising LMSWs or related mental health professionals and familiarity with OMH regulations strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of DSM-5, trauma-informed care, and a range of clinical modalities (e.g., CBT, EMDR, DBT, psychodynamic therapy).
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
• Commitment to upholding ethical standards and best practices in clinical supervision.
• Bilingual strongly preferred, but not required.
• Daytime and evening availability.
