What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
- Engage directly with clients to perform interviews for assessments and provide effective cybersecurity solutions
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of cybersecurity documentation and evaluate compliance with standards like FISMA and FedRAMP
- Develop and improve automation scripts to streamline security assessments and reporting processes
- Perform system and network vulnerability scanning and analysis using industry-standard tools
- Prepare clear, accurate reports and documentation, enhancing efficiency through automation
What is Required (Qualifications)
- Bachelor\'s Degree or higher
- Strong verbal communication skills for client interactions
- Basic knowledge of Cloud Computing, FedRAMP, FISMA, and NIST RMF
- Demonstrable scripting skills in at least one language (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Bash)
- Must obtain a FedRAMP required (A2LA R311) industry certification within 3 months
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
- 1+ years of experience in FISMA-based security Assessment and Authorization (A&A) activities
- Experience in creating and maintaining scripts for cybersecurity tools and processes
- Proficiency in using technical assessment tools like Nessus and ACAS
- Ability to identify and mitigate cybersecurity risks through formal assessments
- Knowledge in security engineering and secure architecture development
