What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
  • Engage directly with clients to perform interviews for assessments and provide effective cybersecurity solutions
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of cybersecurity documentation and evaluate compliance with standards like FISMA and FedRAMP
  • Develop and improve automation scripts to streamline security assessments and reporting processes
  • Perform system and network vulnerability scanning and analysis using industry-standard tools
  • Prepare clear, accurate reports and documentation, enhancing efficiency through automation
What is Required (Qualifications)
  • Bachelor\'s Degree or higher
  • Strong verbal communication skills for client interactions
  • Basic knowledge of Cloud Computing, FedRAMP, FISMA, and NIST RMF
  • Demonstrable scripting skills in at least one language (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Bash)
  • Must obtain a FedRAMP required (A2LA R311) industry certification within 3 months
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
  • 1+ years of experience in FISMA-based security Assessment and Authorization (A&A) activities
  • Experience in creating and maintaining scripts for cybersecurity tools and processes
  • Proficiency in using technical assessment tools like Nessus and ACAS
  • Ability to identify and mitigate cybersecurity risks through formal assessments
  • Knowledge in security engineering and secure architecture development
