Job summary

Waggle Route Inc in Lincoln, NE is seeking a reliable Delivery Driver to safely operate a company vehicle, pick up, scan, load, and deliver packages, and maintain accurate delivery documentation.

This position offers paid training, weekly pay, PTO, structured scheduling with full-time and part-time options, and a chance to advance from seasonal to permanent status while building a long-term career. No CDL required; must be 21+ with a clean record.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 or older.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening.
• Ability to lift packages up to 150 lbs.
• No CDL required.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a company delivery vehicle.
• Pick up, scan, load, and deliver packages.
• Complete timely and accurate deliveries.
• Load and unload packages and maneuver them to delivery locations.
• Maintain and operate electronic delivery equipment.
• Plan and follow efficient delivery routes using GPS.
• Verify package accuracy and maintain delivery documentation.
• Provide professional and courteous customer service.
• Communicate with dispatch regarding delivery schedules and delays.
• Perform vehicle checks and keep the delivery vehicle clean.
• Report vehicle malfunctions or traffic violations promptly.
• Follow company delivery and safety policies.
• Represent the company professionally at all times.

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday with rotating weekends

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a company delivery vehicle
• Pick up, scan, load, and deliver packages
• Complete timely and accurate deliveries
• Load and unload packages, including maneuvering packages to delivery locations

• Plan and follow efficient delivery routes using GPS while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations
• Verify package accuracy and maintain proper delivery documentation
• Provide professional and courteous customer service
• Communicate with dispatch regarding delivery schedules, delays, or issues
• Perform vehicle checks and maintain the cleanliness of the delivery vehicle
• Report vehicle malfunctions, accidents, or traffic violations promptly
• Follow company delivery and safety policies
• Represent the company professionally at all times

Required Qualifications:

• Age 21 or older
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Must be willing to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening
• Ability to lift packages up to 150 lbs., including bending, lifting, and maneuvering packages in and out of the delivery vehicle
• Strong knowledge of traffic laws and safety regulations
• Good time management and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively
• Strong communication and customer-service skills
• Prior courier or delivery experience is a plus
• No CDL required
