Job summary

LC Parham, Inc. is seeking a delivery driver to safely operate a 12’ box truck, load/unload packages, and optimize routes using GPS. You will interact with customers professionally and maintain accurate delivery records.

This full-time position requires 21+ years old, a valid license, and the ability to pass drug, background, and MVR checks. Training with potential pay increases accompanies the role.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ years old.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Ability to drive a 12’ box truck or similar vehicle.
• Legal work status (e-Verify).
• Pass pre-employment and random drug screening.
• Pass MVR check (two or fewer violations in 3 years).
• Cellphone with text and data capabilities.
• Basic computer and GPS navigation skills.
• Able to lift 50 lb regularly and handle up to 150 lb with assistive devices.

Responsibilities

LC Parham, Inc., is a FedEx Ground and Home Delivery contractor in Lincolnton and Newton, NC. Our goal is to make every FedEx experience outstanding. We are looking for drivers who want to be in a customer-oriented, and team-minded environment. Candidates must manage a delivery route safely, efficiently, positively, and professionally. Important characteristics being sought are reliability, maturity, and motivation.

Our routes cover Rutherford County and Wilkes County.

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport packages to designated locations.
• Load and unload packages, ensuring proper handling and organization.
• Utilize GPS and other navigation tools to optimize delivery routes.
• Provide excellent customer service by interacting positively with recipients.
• Maintain accurate delivery records and report any issues or discrepancies.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance to ensure safety and reliability.

Pay Structure:

• Opportunity for pay increases based on driver performance and route assignment
• Training pay is different

Work Schedule:

• Delivery Days: Monday through Saturday, average 8-12 hours
• Required - 2 Saturdays a month

Job Criteria:

This fast-paced job requires some heavy lifting and the ability to safely drive a 12’ box truck or similar truck/van. Interaction with customers and team members requires a friendly and professional demeanor.

Delivery Driver experience not required, but preferred. CDL not required.

• Ability to drive/work in all types of weather conditions
• Ability to problem solve and self-manage delivery route
• Ability to interact with business/residential customers and team members in a professional manner
• Ability to be flexible and handle a stressful workload
• Ability to follow SAFETY regulations and practice SAFETY
• Ability to follow standard delivery protocols and operating procedures as instructed
