Prostorm, Inc in Eastaboga, AL is hiring FedEx Delivery drivers to serve local residential and business customers. CDL not required; regular full-time positions available.

Starting pay is $160–$175 per day with paid training; duties include safe driving, delivering and picking up packages, daily vehicle inspections, and exceptional customer service.

Qualifications

• Be at least 21 years of age with a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Pass a drug test with random ongoing screens during employment.
• Pass a DOT physical.
• Lift up to 75 lbs, or up to 150 lbs with a hand truck.
• Pass FedEx Ground background check.
• Reliable transportation to and from work; be on time.
• Capable of climbing stairs and working in all weather.
• Demonstrate a strong work ethic and dependable attitude.

Responsibilities

• Operate the vehicle safely at all times.
• Deliver and pick up packages to businesses and residences (up to ~110 stops/day).
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and load organization.
• Work independently and as part of a team.
• Provide excellent customer service and communicate with the manager.
• Use scanner and track delivery progress accurately.
• Ensure proper disposition of packages and on-time route completion.
• Full-time schedule: 4 days or more per week.

We are hiring regular full time FedEx Delivery drivers with work-related driving experience and a strong work ethic to make local residential and business deliveries.(CDL License not required) If you have been a Local Driver, Route Driver, Truck Driver, Courier, Pick Up Driver, Delivery driver - and if you have driven for UPS, Amazon, previous FedEx companies, DHL, Wal-Mart, Uber, Lyft or any other similar companies - that's a plus! Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age, have a valid driver’s license, and a clean driving record.
• Pass a drug test (includes marijuana) with continued random drug screens throughout employment
• Pass a DOT physical
• Be able to safely lift/carry up to 75 lbs. and up to 150 lbs. with hand truck
• Pass FedEx Ground criminal background check
• Have reliable transportation to and from work - Be on time and ready to work each workday
• Be able to climb stairs
• Be able to work in all types of weather
• Have a strong work ethic and get it done attitude

Daily Duties include but not limited to:

• Your vehicle must be operated safely at all times
• Delivery and pick up of packages to businesses and residences. Routes vary in number of pick-ups and deliveries, but expectations are a driver will routinely perform up to 110 stops a day
• Perform daily inspection of vehicle including checking fluid levels
• Loading vehicle for deliveries and organizing daily loads
• Work independently and as part of a team
• Provide exceptional customer service and maintain appropriate communication with manager
• Accurately operate scanner/effectively track delivery process
• Accurate disposition of package delivery and pickups is a must and critical to our integrity.
• Consistently deliver entire route in a timely manner
• Full-time: 4 Days or more per week

Compensation:

Starting pay is $160-175/day. Reviewed after 30-45 days. Great drivers make great pay!

Paid training will be provided that covers delivery/route procedures, standard equipment operations, customer service skills, and driver safety.
