Job summary

Prostorm, Inc. in Eastaboga, AL is hiring regular full-time FedEx Delivery drivers to handle local residential and business deliveries. CDL not required. Starting pay ranges from $160 to $175 per day with review after 30-45 days.

Requirements include 21+ years old, valid license, clean driving record, drug test and DOT physical, ability to lift up to 75 lbs (150 lbs with hand truck), and a DOT background check. Training is provided.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ years old with valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Must pass a drug test with random screens.
• Must pass a DOT physical.
• Able to lift up to 75 lbs and 150 lbs with a hand truck.
• Must pass FedEx Ground background check.
• Reliable transportation to and from work; punctual every day.
• Able to climb stairs and work in all weather.
• Strong work ethic and proactive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Operate vehicle safely at all times.
• Deliver and pick up packages to businesses and residences; up to 110 stops per day.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and load daily deliveries.
• Work independently and as part of a team; communicate with management.

We are hiring regular full time FedEx Delivery drivers with work-related driving experience and a strong work ethic to make local residential and business deliveries.(CDL License not required) If you have been a Local Driver, Route Driver, Truck Driver, Courier, Pick Up Driver, Delivery driver - and if you have driven for UPS, Amazon, previous FedEx companies, DHL, Wal-Mart, Uber, Lyft or any other similar companies - that's a plus! Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age, have a valid driver’s license, and a clean driving record.
• Pass a drug test (includes marijuana) with continued random drug screens throughout employment
• Pass a DOT physical
• Be able to safely lift/carry up to 75 lbs. and up to 150 lbs. with hand truck
• Pass FedEx Ground criminal background check
• Have reliable transportation to and from work Be on time and ready to work each workday
• Be able to climb stairs
• Be able to work in all types of weather
• Have a strong work ethic and get it done attitude

Daily Duties include but not limited to:

• Your vehicle must be operated safely at all times
• Delivery and pick up of packages to businesses and residences. Routes vary in number of pick-ups and deliveries, but expectations are a driver will routinely perform up to 110 stops a day
• Perform daily inspection of vehicle including checking fluid levels
• Loading vehicle for deliveries and organizing daily loads
• Work independently and as part of a team
• Provide exceptional customer service and maintain appropriate communication with manager
• Accurately operate scanner/effectively track delivery process
• Accurate disposition of package delivery and pickups is a must and critical to our integrity.
• Consistently deliver entire route in a timely manner

Available positions:

• Full-time: 4 Days or more per week

Compensation:

Starting pay is $160-175/day. Reviewed after 30-45 days. Great drivers make great pay!
