Job summary

Peraton is seeking an experienced Federation/Integration Engineer/UI to design, build, and maintain secure integrations between the IAM platform and key enterprise systems, including ID.me, ServiceNow, and the ELK Stack.

This hands-on role focuses on APIs, identity federation, middleware, and observability within a federal environment, supporting millions of users and modernizing identity services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years in integration engineering or 9 years with a high school degree.
• 5 years in integration engineering, API or middleware development.
• 2+ years with IAM/identity platforms (ID.me, Okta, ForgeRock, Ping).
• Experience building ServiceNow integrations and workflows.
• Hands-on ELK Stack (Elasticsearch/Logstash/Kibana) experience.
• Strong REST/JSON/XML and API security knowledge.
• Familiarity with NIST/FISMA/FedRAMP and federal security requirements.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain secure integrations with ID.me (OIDC, OAuth 2.0, SAML, JWT).
• Develop ServiceNow integrations using Scripted REST APIs, Flow Designer, and MID Servers.
• Build REST APIs, middleware services, and data transformation workflows.
• Configure and maintain ELK Stack pipelines, dashboards, and alerts.
• Create secure, scalable data exchanges between IAM, ServiceNow, and observability platforms.
• Troubleshoot cross-system integration issues and production incidents.
• Document architecture diagrams and operational runbooks.
• Collaborate with security, engineering, architecture and product teams in Agile.
