Academy of Art University offers a Federal Work Study Toolroom Assistant position at 410 Bush Street, 1st Floor Toolroom in San Francisco. You will support students and faculty by checking in/out tools and assisting with administrative tasks within the Jewelry and Metal Arts Department.

Federal Work Study Toolroom Assistants will assist in the general daily operations of the toolroom which includes supporting students and faculty and supporting the Jewelry and Metal Arts Department with basic administrative functions.
This Federal Work Study position will support current students by providing opportunities for students to use the toolroom equipment and assisting students in the use of the approved tools. In addition, this position will complement and reinforce a Federal Work Study student’s educational program or vocational goals by providing opportunities for the Work Study Toolroom Assistant to increase their skills with current equipment, learn customer service skills, and learn basic administrative skills.
