Qualifications

• Must be 16 years or older, have work permit consent, and eligible to work in the United States.
• Actively attending City Colleges of Chicago
• Enrolled in a minimum of 6 semester hours pre-credit or credit classes
• Pursuing an approved educational credential, degree, or certificate
• Maintain a minimum cumulative 2.0 GPA (waived for first semester new students)
• In good standing – no CCC academic restrictions
• Not current full or part-time CCC employee
• Employment at-will status applies

Responsibilities

• Assist at reception desk, greeting students, faculty and staff entering office
• Assist staff in the day-to-day functions of the Office
• Provide support on various projects and assignments as needed
• Provide general office support including filing, faxing, photocopying, and data entry
• Adhere to CCC Customer Services Excellence Standards
• Answer phones, file, make copies, create and send emails, research and communicate with students, staff, faculty and outside organizations
