Job summary

Guilford Technical Community College is seeking a Federal Work Study Photography Assistant in Marketing to support the marketing team with artistic and digital photography of students, events, and staff.

The role requires current GTCC enrollment, some photography experience, strong written communication, and the ability to meet deadlines with a flexible schedule including evenings. Pay is $15.00 per hour. Portfolio optional but welcome.

Qualifications

• Current GTCC student with second-year standing.
• Marketing or visual arts major preferred.
• Some photography experience.
• Project management experience.
• Strong written communication.
• Graphic design skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• The photography assistant performs artistic, creative and digital photographic work as assigned by the marketing team to showcase students, events, and employees.
• Meet frequent deadlines and multi-task.
• Work quickly and with a flexible schedule including evenings.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to support campus branding and event coverage.

Job Description

The photography assistant performs artistic, creative and digital photographic work as assigned by the marketing team to showcase students, events, and employees.

Duties/Functions
