Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking a Web Content Specialist to support transportation research and communications programs by developing, editing, and publishing web content. You will manage Drupal and other platforms, ensure accessibility (Section 508), and optimize for SEO while maintaining accuracy and compliance with federal standards.

The role requires 5+ years in web content management and a bachelor’s degree in a related field, with US citizenship and ability to obtain Public Trust clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 5+ years of web content management/digital communications experience.
• At least 3 years CMS experience within the last 5 years.
• Experience applying SEO best practices to web content.
• Knowledge of Section 508 accessibility requirements.
• Experience with Drupal or similar CMS.
• Strong writing, editing, and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Drafting, editing, and publishing web content using government workflows.
• Support multiple Drupal sites, SharePoint sites, and Google Sites.
• Edit pages, metadata, and images for accuracy, usability, and SEO.
• Coordinate quarterly content certification activities to keep content current.
• Identify broken links and suggest navigation/content improvements.
• Develop user guides, training materials, and process documentation.
• Collaborate with program offices, public affairs, legal, and records management.
