Job summary

You will dispense medications, review orders, document care, and collaborate with physicians and healthcare staff while adhering to federal standards and as-needed shift schedules.

Qualifications

• Current Pharmacist license to practice in Arizona.
• Relevant clinical pharmacy experience.
• Experience reviewing and verifying medication orders.
• Knowledge of drug interactions, allergies, therapeutic duplication, dosing, and medication safety.
• Experience providing patient medication counseling.
• Experience with electronic patient or pharmacy record systems.
• Knowledge of state and federal regulations governing controlled substances.
• Must be comfortable standing for at least 7 hours.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive pharmacy services, including medication dispensing, prescription review, therapeutic evaluation, patient counseling, clinical consultation, documentation, and controlled-substance accountability.
• Identify potential medication-related concerns and communicate appropriate alternatives to healthcare providers.
