Job summary

The MIL Corporation seeks a Travel Business Analyst to support a Federal Government client in Rosslyn, VA. The analyst will document travel business processes for an electronic government travel system, analyze financial and compensation systems, and draft requirements for software releases throughout the project lifecycle.

The role requires on-site work currently, with responsibilities spanning requirements elicitation, QA testing, and stakeholder communication.

Qualifications

3+ years of professional experience with Federal government contracting.
Expertise with project and database management.
Expertise with MS Office (Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Must be flexible and have strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to multi-task while maintaining a professional demeanor.

Responsibilities

Analyze complex problems, develop and document alternate solutions.
Perform and document results of what-if analysis.
Gather and analyze business and system requirements from groups, interviews, and regulatory research.
Draft proposals to resolve systems and business process issues.
Develop and execute test plans and scripts; document results.
Review test plans with clients to ensure adequate coverage of processes.
Provide SME on software functionality and business processes.
Prepare product management deliverables for the project manager and team.
Monitor project status across lifecycle and at milestones.
