Job summary

The MIL Corporation seeks a Travel Business Analyst to support a Federal Government client in the Washington, DC metropolitan area. The role focuses on documenting travel business processes for an E-Government travel system and performing requirements analysis and QA testing through the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities include eliciting requirements, drafting documents, developing test plans, and providing SME guidance on software functionality.

Qualifications

3+ years of professional experience with Federal government contracting.
Experience with project and database management.
Strong verbal and written communication skills and multitasking ability.

Responsibilities

Analyze complex problems and document alternate solutions
Perform and document results of what-if analyses
Elicit and analyze business and system requirements via user groups, interviews, regulatory research
Draft requirements and design documents
Draft proposals to resolve systems and business process issues
Develop test plans and execute manual and automated tests
Review test plans with clients to ensure coverage and satisfaction of business requirements
Provide SME on software functionality and business processes
Assist in product management deliverables for project milestones
Monitor project status across lifecycle phases
