Job summary

HDR’s Federal Business Group seeks a Technology Director to lead the strategy and delivery of technology solutions across six Business Groups. You will work with HDR leadership, vendors, and clients to drive digital transformation, secure cloud adoption, and innovative tooling for Federal programs.

Ideal candidates have a deep background in enterprise tech, cybersecurity frameworks, and hands-on governance, with a track record of shaping roadmaps and delivering complex programs for DoD,

Qualifications

• Experience supporting enterprise technology strategy for multidisciplinary engineering or professional services.
• Minimum 10 years delivering tech solutions for Federal clients in the AEC industry.
• Knowledge of NIST, RMF, FedRAMP, CMMC and CUI cybersecurity requirements.
• Experience evaluating technology, software development and deployment.
• Broad knowledge of technologies and their delivery in Federal sectors.
• Experience in digital delivery, modeling, data architecture, data management, AI/ML, cloud & automation.
• Excellent communication and collaboration across diverse teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead evaluation of emerging technologies for Federal programs and set metrics.
• Drive technology innovation to improve program performance, resilience, and security.
• Represent FBG in enterprise technology planning and security compliance discussions.
• Develop technology visions and roadmaps for Federal Market Sectors and Delivery Teams.
• Partner with Corporate Technology to ensure Federal compliant platforms.
• Standardize workflows for Federal programs and ensure documentation.
• Lead proposals for investment in technology to drive innovation and productivity.
• Define technology capability requirements to support Federal workloads.
