Job summary

Deloitte Tax LLP, within the Business Tax Services (Federal tax) practice, is seeking a highly skilled Tax Manager to lead and manage comprehensive federal tax engagements for clients across multiple jurisdictions. You will review returns, advise on tax planning and compliance, and contribute to tax strategy within a dynamic, global team.

Ideal candidates hold a CPA or equivalent, with 3+ years in federal taxation preparation and review, and are comfortable working in a hybrid environment

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• 3+ years' federal tax preparation and review experience.
• Ability to travel up to 25%.
• CPA or equivalent accreditation preferred.
• Experience with ASC 740 addressing income taxes.
• Experience with large CPA firms or Big 4 considered a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed technical review of federal tax returns for corporations, partnerships, and individuals.
• Coordinate with the client's tax and finance departments on data gathering and planning.
• Review and assist with ASC 740 income tax provisions.
• Research federal tax legislation and assess impact on compliance and consulting.
• Assist with engagements, including workflow management and supervising staff.
