Job summary

Supermicro is seeking a specialized Supply Chain Risk & Trade Compliance Specialist to establish a dedicated federal SCRM and trade compliance program. You will own HBOM/SBOM tracking, supplier risk scoring across security and non-security domains, and country-of-origin verification for government and defense pipelines.

Reporting to the Director of Federal Compliance, the role integrates with Legal, Security, and Procurement to ensure regulatory alignment with FAR/DFARS, EAR/ITAR, and NDAA rules

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 5+ years in supply chain risk management or export controls.
• Deep expertise in SCRM frameworks and regulatory requirements.
• Experience evaluating HBOM/SBOM and component traceability.
• Ability to synthesize multiple risk domains into actionable outputs.

Responsibilities

• Build and operate federal SCRM program for SBOM/HBOM tracking.
• Develop vendor tiering and composite risk scoring models.
• Conduct third-party risk assessments and restricted-vendor screening.
• Incorporate financial viability, sub-processor visibility, and continuity into risk reviews.
• Embed onboarding gates to ensure SKU screening before build.
