Job summary

Supermicro is seeking a Supply Chain Risk & Trade Compliance Specialist to establish a federal SCRM and trade compliance program for SMCI Federal. You will own HBOM/SBOM tracking, supplier risk scoring, NDAA/ITAR screening, and country-of-origin verification for government and defense pipelines.

Reporting to the Director of Federal Compliance, this role links federal and commercial GTC operations and requires deep regulatory expertise, cross‑functional collaboration, and a focus on risk-driven

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, International Trade, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of direct experience in supply chain risk management, federal trade compliance, export controls, or defense supply chain assurance.
• Deep expertise in SCRM frameworks (NIST SP 800-161), FAR/DFARS supply chain clauses, NDAA restricted- vendor rules, EAR, ITAR.
• Strong proficiency evaluating HBOM/SBOM and multi‑tier supply chain networks.
• Ability to design and operate a risk-scoring methodology across diverse domains.

Responsibilities

• Build, operate, and maintain a dedicated SCRM program for federal-bound products including HBOM/SBOM tracking.
• Develop vendor tiering and a composite risk‑scoring methodology across multiple risk domains.
• Conduct third‑party risk assessments, supplier cybersecurity posture reviews, and NDAA/Entity List screening.
• Support export licensing, monitoring of technology diversion, and EAR/ITAR regulatory reviews.
• Collaborate with Legal, Security, and Procurement to ensure governance and remediation.
