Job summary

Ilocatum is seeking a Safety & Health Officer for a multi-year border wall construction project near Laredo, TX. The SSHO will lead safety programs, enforce compliance, and coordinate with site teams across heavy civil work including barrier wall, road repair, and utilities.

Salary range $115-140K plus per diem where applicable; candidates must have OSHA 30, EM 385-1-1 experience, and a track record as SSHO on federal design-build projects of at least $5 million.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of construction safety experience.
• SSH O on at least two federal design-build projects valued at $5 million or more.
• Strong heavy-civil construction experience.
• OSHA 30 required.
• Experience implementing EM 385-1-1, AHAs, inspections, subcontractor safety oversight, excavation, heavy equipment, lifting operations, and other heavy-civil hazards.
• Border infrastructure, roadway, utility, or large linear civil construction experience preferred.
