Job summary

Chevo is hiring an experienced SharePoint and Web Developer to join our expanding firm. This role involves significant client interaction and becoming a trusted advisor through understanding the client's business.

The position is hybrid with 1-2 days onsite per week at our Arlington, VA location. Responsibilities include conducting requirements analysis, developing SharePoint sites, lists, repositories, and workflows, and training users.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (advanced degrees and certifications preferred) in a related field or 3–10 years' experience.
• Experience with SharePoint development and front-end web development (HTML/JavaScript).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
• Experience data analytics and ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Analyze requirements for new SharePoint sites and business processes.
• Interview stakeholders and advise on best approach for SharePoint solutions.
• Develop SharePoint lists, repositories, workflows, and data visualizations.
• Train users and demonstrate tools and processes to clients.

Description

Chevo is hiring an experienced SharePoint and Web Developer to join our expanding firm. This position provides the opportunity for significant client interaction by learning the client's business better than they know it and to become a trusted advisor. Ideal candidates will demonstrate versatility in understanding and performing front-end web development, HTML, JavaScript, and SharePoint development related to Federal Engagements. This is position is a hybrid work environment, with onsite client engagement expect 1-2 days per week. Office Locations is in Arlington VA.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Conduct requirements analysis for new organization SharePoint site
• Conduct business process analysis to determine automation requirements
• Conduct and manage stakeholder interviews
• Advise client on best approach for creating SharePoint site tailored to their needs
• Establish management protocols for the SharePoint site
• Develop SharePoint lists to collect data using out-of-the-box functionality
• Develop SharePoint document repositories to collect and store documents
• Develop SharePoint workflows to route information for review and approval
• Develop SharePoint to visualize data
• Organize and coordinate training, as needed
• Train users and provide demonstrations on all tools and processes created, as needed

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree (Advanced degrees and professional certifications preferred) in Business, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field OR three (3) to Ten (10) years' experience
• Experience with SharePoint development, front end web development, HTML and JavaScript
• Proficient in the following Microsoft applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
• Previous experience doing data analytics
• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing

SALARY RANGE: $105K To $130K (subject to change)
