Job summary

Ladders is seeking a Federal Senior Product Analytics Engineer to shape the analytics foundation for product decisions. You will design scalable data pipelines, establish reliable data models, and define metrics to improve visibility into product usage and growth opportunities.

This role partners with Product and Engineering to translate needs into trusted analytics assets and maintain governance and data quality. Remote-first role with flexible collaboration across teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in data engineering and analytics.
• Advanced SQL skills with hands-on experience in dbt or equivalent.
• Experience building production data pipelines and analytics dashboards.
• Ability to translate ambiguous business requirements into well-documented data models.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain scalable ELT pipelines and data models for analytics.
• Collaborate with Product Engineering on accurate product data definitions.
• Support data governance by preparing metrics for certification and maintaining documentation.
• Build self-service data models for Product Analytics to empower internal stakeholders.
• Monitor data quality and detect anomalies in product usage data.
• Contribute to analytics engineering for expansion and upsell metrics.
• Define analytics standards and ensure alignment with company-wide practices.
• Present technical data concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

For our client, we are seeking a Federal Senior Product Analytics Engineer to join the team of a leader in the Telecommunications & Hardware space.

This role will shape the analytics foundation that supports product decision-making, with a strong focus on reliable data models, scalable pipelines, and clear metric definitions. You will partner closely with Product and Engineering teams to turn ambiguous requirements into trusted analytics assets that improve visibility into product usage and growth opportunities. The position also plays an important role in governance, documentation, and data quality so stakeholders can confidently use the insights produced.

Location: Remote

Compensation: $142,718 – $186,560 annually
