Job summary

Golden SVCS LLC seeks a Protective Security Officer to guard federal property and personnel, conduct regular site tours, and ensure access control with trained FPS credentials. The role emphasizes reporting, incident response, and adherence to regulations governing visitors and premises.

The position requires US citizenship, 21+ years, armed security or law enforcement background, and successful completion of security clearances.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years old.
• U.S. Citizenship or legal eligibility to work in the United States.
• Two years security (armed) or one year law enforcement experience; or two years of honorable service in US Armed Forces.
• Must have a Social Security Card issued by the Social Security Administration.
• Must have a HS Diploma or GED.
• Able to read, write, speak English and prepare detailed written reports.
• Able to pass a pre-employment physical and drug screening.
• Must pass background investigations including criminal, credit and driving records.
• Must pass US Government background investigation for required secret clearance.
• FPS Training Credentials: Contractor Provided Initial/Basic/Refresher Training, Orientation, DCJS, Active Secret Clearance

Responsibilities

• Control access to client facility and assist visitors.
• Monitor entrances and exits; manage movement of people and vehicles; operate gate and CCTV.
• Patrol assigned site on foot.
• Protect evidence and direct information as needed after incidents.
• Prepare logs or reports for post duties.
• Respond to fires, medical emergencies, bomb threats, floods, or hazardous events following procedures.
• Perform similar tasks as assigned for the post.
