Job summary

Aptive Resources is seeking a Personnel Security Assistant to support personnel security clearance processing for new hires and current employees working on Federal contracts. You will guide employees through security processes, provide clear instructions, coordinate online training, and track progress through multi‑stage clearance processes for our Federal clients.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years work experience in a customer service or related role.
• HS diploma/GED.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a public trust clearance.
• Ability to self‑manage and work remote/telework.
• Strong attention to detail and organization with the ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, listening, problem‑solving, interpersonal and relationship‑building skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify and track various security processing requirements.
• Communicate and coordinate clearance requirements.
• QA/QC documents for accuracy and completion; request edits and corrections as required; submit documents to the appropriate Government point of contact.
• Track and report multi-stage clearance progress from entry to exit.
