Job summary

Accenture Federal Services seeks a Security Architecture Specialist in Arlington, VA to support IT Enterprise Security Engineering. You will track ATO projects, develop security workflows, and ensure secure design alignment with compliance processes.

The role requires 2–3 years in information security, knowledge of NIST 800-171 or 800-53, and familiarity with US security requirements. Collaboration across IT teams and SOP updates are expected.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of working experience information security or relevant experience.
• Experience with NIST 800-171 r2 or NIST 800-53.
• Knowledge of US Security requirements.
• Familiarity with policy, standard, procedure and baseline structure.
• Openness to, and ability to deal with, rapid change in business needs, processes and technologies

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day tracking of ATO projects for AFS IT Enterprise Security Engineering Team (ITESE).
• Document strategies for IESE and Compliance workflows with ITESE lead.
• Implement and interpret ITESE workflows and link to Compliance (ConMon).
• Support ITESE activities like control assessments and process improvements.
• Review control assessments for completeness and ensure alignment with control objectives; escalate issues.
• Ensure AFS standards are applied in control reviews for ATO and SIA.
• Create documentation and update SOPs during cycles or changes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to review requirements and meet service objectives.
• Involve in ATO development and assess service requirements and deliverables.
• Coordinate meetings to gather responses for ATO documents.
• Attend department and tower meetings as assigned.
• Collaborate with ITESE and ITSAE teams.
