Qualifications

• 12+ years of progressive cybersecurity experience with leadership across multiple domains.
• Deep expertise in SOC operations, incident response, detection, vulnerability management, engineering, and AppSec.
• Experience implementing enterprise-scale security programs and platforms.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to translate executive priorities into action.
• Experience working in federal or regulated environments.

Responsibilities

• Cybersecurity Strategy & Architecture: Define and mature enterprise security architecture aligned with federal mandates, mission needs, and modernization priorities.
• Security Operations Leadership: Improve SOC functions including detection engineering, incident response, threat hunting, and cyber intelligence.
• Security Engineering & Modernization: Lead the adoption and optimization of security platforms across identity, endpoint, network, cloud, and data.
• Application Security & SDLC: Build secure-by-design practices, integrate security into modern development pipelines, strengthen supply chain security.
• Vulnerability Management: Oversee enterprise vulnerability strategy, integrating threat intelligence and business context for risk-based prioritization.
• AI Innovation & Cyber Transformation: Assess and guide responsible use of AI, ML, and agentic technologies to advance cyber defense, engineering productivity, and automation.
• Leadership & Workforce Development: Mentor cyber talent, build adaptable high-performing teams, and foster collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
