Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking an IT Security Specialist (Mid) to build, manage, and control secure configurations for over 200 information systems within a federal environment. You will apply SecCM practices in alignment with NIST 800-128 and organizational policies to manage risk and strengthen security posture.

You will document changes, perform qualitative/quantitative analyses, and contribute to policy development and audits.

Qualifications

• Active SECRET clearance required.
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 5+ years of security experience.
• Ability to obtain DOD 8570 Level 1 within 6 months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Manage secure configurations for 200+ information systems for a federal client.
• Ensure configuration management aligns with NIST 800-128 and policies.
• Document changes and analyses in reports and technical docs.
• Support policy development and security audits for SecCM.
