Job summary
Supermicro is seeking a Supply Chain Risk & Trade Compliance Specialist to establish and operate a dedicated federal SCRM and trade compliance program for SMCI Federal. You will own HBOM/SBOM tracking, supplier risk scoring, and restricted-vendor screening in support of government and defense sales pipelines.
The role reports to the Director of Federal Compliance and requires strong knowledge of ITAR/EAR, NDAA 889/1260H, and multi-tier supply chain governance across hardware and software bill of
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- 5+ years of direct experience in supply chain risk management or federal trade compliance.
- Deep expertise in SCRM frameworks (NIST SP 800-161) and FAR/DFARS.
- Technical aptitude in HBOM/SBOM evaluation and multi-tier supply chains.
- Experience with ITAR/EAR classifications and NDAA screening.
Responsibilities
- Build, operate, and maintain a dedicated federal SCRM program.
- Develop vendor tiering and composite risk scoring across multiple domains.
- Conduct third-party risk assessments and restricted-vendor screening.
- Incorporate financial viability and continuity planning into risk assessments.
- Embed screening gates into federal product request processes.
