Job summary

IonQ is seeking a hands-on Salesforce Administrator for the Federal GovCloud to own the health, configuration, and compliance posture of the government cloud environment supporting our federal business. You will provision access, deliver declarative enhancements, and keep the platform audit-ready against federal controls.

The role requires 7+ years of Salesforce administration, ADM-201, and a US Person status; hybrid/remote-friendly with a regulated environment and strong data governance.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional Salesforce administration experience.
• Bachelor's degree in IS, business, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Active ADM-201 Salesforce Administrator certification.
• Experience in regulated/compliance-driven environments with audit support.
• U.S. Person status and ability to work in Salesforce Government Cloud / FedRAMP environment.

Responsibilities

• Administer Salesforce Government Cloud, ensure environment is correctly configured and segmented from commercial orgs.
• Provision and deprovision user access with least-privilege and governance standards.
• Develop enhancements using declarative tools (flows, validation rules, page layouts) and coordinate GovCloud changes.
• Design and maintain reports and dashboards for federal sales, operations, and compliance.
• Perform data quality, deduplication, sandbox and release management before production.
• Support Shield controls and provide access reviews for audits (CMMC, NIST 800-171).
• Manage intake queue for federal Salesforce requests and triage issues against SLAs.
• Gather requirements and lead UAT; maintain runbooks and configuration standards.
• Advise on best practices for federal Salesforce and ITAR/CUI data handling.
