Job summary

NAVY EXCHANGE SERVICE COMMAND (NEXCOM) is seeking a part-time Sales Associate at the San Diego Home Store. You will be the face of the brand, engaging customers, promoting products, and delivering friendly, informed service to military personnel, retirees, and families.

Role requires the ability to learn product knowledge, communicate effectively, and work a flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. No prior experience required, high school diploma preferred.

Qualifications

• Retail experience preferred but not required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret instructional documents and safety manuals.
• Basic math skills for handling cash and transactions.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers and highlight products and promotions.
• Provide premier customer service and build relationships with customers.
• Operate the POS system and process transactions accurately.
• Maintain store appearance and keep merchandise stocked and organized.
• Support inventory processes and ensure proper ticketing and pricing.
