Job summary

Renewyx, a respected general contractor in Washington, DC, is seeking an experienced Federal Superintendent to oversee federal renovation and modernization projects in occupied facilities. You will manage day-to-day site operations, coordinate multiple subcontractors, ensure compliance with government standards, and deliver high-quality work on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in federal construction, including renovation work.
• Active QCM (Quality Control Manager) certification – required.
• OSHA 30 certification – required.
• AOC (Architect of the Capitol) badge – highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of federal construction protocols, safety standards, and compliance processes.
• Proven ability to manage multiple subcontractors and deliver projects in secure environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead all on-site construction activities for federal renovation projects.
• Enforce safety, quality, and compliance standards in accordance with federal regulations.
• Oversee scheduling, subcontractor coordination, and progress reporting.
• Manage site documentation, inspections, and quality control processes.
• Communicate effectively with project managers, federal clients, and on-site personnel.
