AECOM is seeking a Federal Real Property Finance Supervisor to lead strategic financial management for federal real property assets at the US Washington, DC location. This hybrid role involves overseeing accounting, asset accountability, and the implementation of financial controls across capital projects and appropriations.

The successful candidate will have a CPA or equivalent, 6+ years in real property accounting, and US citizenship.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required in relevant fields; six years of related Federal Real Property accounting/financial management experience.
  • Experience supporting federal financial systems and audit environments.
  • CPA, CDFM or CGFM certification required.
  • U.S. Citizenship is required and ability to obtain Public Trust Clearance.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a CAC.

The Federal Real Property Finance Supervisor provides strategic financial management, accounting oversight, and compliance support for federal real property, capital assets, infrastructure investments, and appropriated funding programs. This role ensures financial accountability, audit readiness, and compliance with federal financial management requirements.


Key Responsibilities



  • Manage property accounting and asset accountability activities.

  • Support financial reporting, reconciliations, and audit readiness initiatives.

  • Provide expertise in Federal Real Property accounting and financial management practices.

  • Support Procurement, Construction, and Improvement (PC&I) and Coastal and Shore Operations (CSO) funding programs.

  • Monitor capital asset costs, depreciation, capitalization, and project expenditures.

  • Support appropriations law compliance and federal financial policy requirements.

  • Provide financial analysis, forecasting, and budget support.

  • Support implementation and utilization of financial management systems such as FSMS and ERP platforms.


    • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Management, Engineering, and 6 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.

    • Minimum 6 years of Federal Real Property accounting and financial management experience.

    • Experience supporting federal financial systems and audit environments.

    • CPA, CDFM or CGFMcertification required.

    • Due to the nature of the work U.S. Citizenship is required.

    • Ability to obtain and maintain Public Trust Clearance.

    • Ability to obtain and maintain a Common Access Card (CAC).



Preferred Qualifications



  • Knowledge of federal appropriations, property accountability, and asset management requirements.


    • This position does not offer relocation assistance.
