Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Civil Engineering Director to serve as the senior engineering advisor across infrastructure planning, capital programs, real property management, and facilities oversight. This role drives project prioritization and construction oversight for mission-critical assets.

Responsibilities include guiding infrastructure modernization strategies, coordinating with stakeholders, and ensuring compliance while supporting asset management and lifecycle cost analyses.

Qualifications

  • BS in Civil Engineering and 10 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) License.
  • U.S. Citizenship required.
  • Minimum 10 years of civil engineering, facilities management, infrastructure planning, construction management, or real property experience.
  • Experience supporting DHS, DoD, or large federal infrastructure portfolios, with Real Property experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in capital project planning and execution.

Job Description

The Civil Engineering Director serves as the senior engineering advisor responsible for providing technical expertise supporting infrastructure planning, capital investment programs, real property management, project prioritization, facilities management, and construction oversight across mission-critical assets.

Qualifications

  • Professional Engineer (PE) License.
  • Due to the nature of the work U.S. Citizenship required.
  • Minimum 10 years of civil engineering, facilities management, infrastructure planning, construction management, or real property experience.
  • Experience supporting DHS, DoD, or large federal infrastructure portfolios, with experience Real Property and/or infrastructure management within DHS or DoD.
  • Demonstrated experiencein capital project planning and execution.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Civil Engineering.
  • PMP Certification preferred.
