Job summary

Niantic Spatial is seeking a Solutions Architect for its Public Sector team to own technical solutioning from discovery through proposal, award, PoC, and delivery. You’ll partner with BD, Sales, and customers to translate mission needs into scalable, secure architectures for federal environments, including RMF/ATO considerations.

The role requires 8+ years in relevant fields, strong proposal skills, and U.S. citizenship with ability to obtain security clearance.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in Solutions Architecture, Systems Engineering, or related fields supporting U.S. Federal customers.
• Experience shaping opportunities pre-RFP and authoring technical proposal content.
• Strong architecture fundamentals across cloud/hybrid deployments, edge, networking, and security controls.
• Translate mission needs into implementable architectures and explain tradeoffs to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Excellent written communication, with ability to produce high-quality technical proposal content under deadline.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance as required.

Responsibilities

• Own technical engagement for federal accounts from discovery through operational implementation.
• Design end-to-end solution architectures for deployment, scaling, reliability, and accreditation in federal environments.
• Lead workshops to capture objectives and translate them into implementation-ready designs.
• Lead technical proposals content including architecture, integration plan, security posture, and compliance matrices.
• Collaborate with Capture/BD to shape win themes and deliver repeatable delivery models.
