Job summary

Bureau of Prisons/Federal Prison System is seeking a Psychology Technician to support psychology services at the facility. Under supervision of a psychologist, you will administer and score tests, manage the PDS, and assist with special projects while handling routine clerical duties.

You will be responsible for scheduling, record keeping, and distribution of test materials and reports, contributing to humane and secure operations and public safety.

Qualifications

• Must be able to administer and score psychological tests including MMPI and MCMI.
• Experience with administrative/secretarial duties and records management.
• Transcripts may be required to verify education when applicable.

Responsibilities

• Administer, score, and distribute psychological tests per supervisor guidance.
• Manage daily operations of the Psychology Data System (PDS).
• Assist psychologists on special projects (e.g., Suicide Prevention Program).
• Schedule appointments and maintain records, memos, and test reports.
