Job summary

Censeo Consulting Group in Washington, DC is seeking a Workforce & Process Improvement Specialist to guide IRS modernization initiatives. You will analyze TAC operations, staffing, and processes, and lead data-driven improvements across stakeholders nationwide.

The ideal candidate has BA/BS, 10+ years’ experience in related domains, and strong skills in analysis, communication, and problem-solving. This role offers a hybrid work schedule with competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• BA/BS required with a strong academic background
• 10+ years of related work experience in the domains listed above
• Certifications in requisite domain are highly preferred
• Experience working for or supporting the IRS strongly preferred, including knowledge of IRS Digitalization projects
• Experience in professional services, consulting, and/or federal government service or contracting
• Superior creative problem-solving, analytical, and quantitative skills
• Ability to work effectively on projects with demanding deadlines in a team environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to share and synthesize knowledge
• Willingness to take initiative and ownership over project work and growth
• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and other spreadsheet/presentation software

Responsibilities

• Defining project strategy and preparing final deliverables
• Assessing organizational roadmap and developing forms modernization workflow
• Measuring success and risks and establishing baselines
• Visiting TAC sites and interviewing stakeholders
• Performing quantitative and qualitative data analysis to identify trends
• Developing recommendations and client engagement communications
• Building client relationships and identifying delivery risks
• Deriving actionable insights from complex issues
• Gaining in-depth knowledge of client issues and requirements
• Presenting insights through written reports and client interactions
